Cam Smith was born and raised in the town of Magrath in Southern Alberta. Cam completed his articling in the summer of 2017 and continues with the firm as an associate. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics after which he received his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016.
During Law School Cam volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, where he helped a local non-profit organization ensure good practice in their employment relations. He was also fortunate enough to represent the College of Law in the Donald D. H. Bowman National Tax Moot.
Since joining the firm Cam has volunteered to provide regular seminars to the public on a variety of legal topics, along with providing legal advice to low income individuals in Grande Prairie through Grande Prairie Legal Guidance.
Outside of work, Cam is a local leader in Scouts Canada. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball and squash, camping, and spending time with his young family.
