Kristy was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology (with distinction) from the University of Calgary in 2008. She completed her Juris Doctor degree (with distinction) at the University of Alberta and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2014. She has remained living in Edmonton and will be based out of KMSC’s new Edmonton office.
Kristy’s practice mostly includes civil litigation, personal injury and surface rights. Her practice history is predominately in litigation and she has appeared and been successful at the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Kristy’s approach to practicing law is client-centered with a hope to have their legal matter flow as seamlessly as possible.
Kristy is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Center. She loves to travel and has been lucky enough to have travels in the U.S. Europe, Carribean, South East Asia, Australia, and South America. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, slo-pitch, camping, boating, water sports, snowboarding, hiking, and taking any opportunity to get outside.
