Owen Lewis Interview with Everything GP
KMSC Partner, Owen Lewis, was recently interviewed by Everything GP where he discussed his recent presentation before the Alberta Insurance Rate Board (AIRB) on behalf of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association to advocate that the AIRB should freeze any further premium rate increases for Alberta consumers on private passenger automobile insurance.
Owen was quoted as saying
Seeing the stability in claims costs over the course of the last, at least, four years and the significant reduction in claims costs that occurred with COVID back in 2020, we just felt that increased auto insurance premiums weren’t warranted.
