A Message to Our Community Regarding the Tragedy in Tumbler Ridge

We are deeply saddened by the tragic events in Tumbler Ridge.

As members of Northern communities ourselves, this hits close to home. Tumbler Ridge is only a few hours from Grande Prairie. Many families in our region are connected through work, school, sports, and community ties. When something like this happens, the shock and grief ripple far beyond one town.

There are no words that can make sense of such violence. The pain, fear, and uncertainty that follow can feel overwhelming. Parents are holding their children tighter. Families are searching for answers. Many are simply trying to process what has happened.
