Jason Forbes was born and raised in Hay River, Northwest Territories. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (Great Distinction) at the University of Saskatchewan in 2000 and his law degree at the University of Victoria in 2003. Jason and his wife Julie moved to Grande Prairie in October 2003 and Jason was admitted to the Alberta Bar in February 2005. His areas of practice include corporate and commercial law, real estate, and estate planning and administration.
Jason is a member of the Canadian Bar Association. He regularly speaks at public legal education seminars and in the past has taught an introductory course on business law at Northwestern Polytechnic (formerly GPRC). Jason has served on the board of directors of various community organizations, including the Grande Prairie Home Builders Association and the QEII Hospital Foundation. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and his three children, travelling, skiing, wake surfing, camping, and attending his kids’ sporting events.
